$ cat about.txt
I’m Patrik — an infrastructure and cloud project engineer who genuinely enjoys the parts other people find boring: clean networks, tenants that behave, endpoints that don’t need reimaging twice. Azure, Intune, MECM/SCCM and M365 are where I live day to day, but I came up through the help desk and the field, so I’m just as happy in a comms room as I am in a portal.
Based in Wollongong, working remotely by default, and on site with clients across greater Sydney and beyond. Off-duty I run retro LAN parties and restore Windows 9x-era machines, usually with a camera running.

Cloud Context
Infrastructure & Cloud Project Engineer
- Part of the professional services team, where I take infrastructure and cloud projects end to end — scoping, design, build, migration and handover.
- My work spans the full stack: Azure and Azure Local, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, virtualisation, networking and security.
- Recent projects include a greenfield Intune implementation and an Azure Local deployment.
- Every environment I hand over comes with the as-built documentation and runbooks the supporting team needs.
Senior Systems Engineer
- Senior escalation point for managed services customers, owning complex faults across cloud, server, endpoint and network environments through to resolution.
- Alongside the escalations, I gave the service desk technical direction and chased down the root causes behind recurring incidents.
Precision IT
Infrastructure Technician
- Day-to-day ownership of client infrastructure — servers, virtualisation, firewalls and backup systems.
- Hardware refreshes and site rollouts were mine end to end, from staging and configuration through to installation and handover.
Senior Service Delivery Technician / Level 3 Technician
- Level 3 escalation point for infrastructure, identity and networking faults across the client base.
- Also technical lead for a small internal team of technicians — triage, guidance and mentoring alongside my own delivery work.

# Prior to 2019: close to a decade of self-employed computer repair alongside customer-facing roles with Microsoft's retail brand team and JB Hi-Fi. That is where I learned to explain technology to regular people without the jargon — still one of the more useful things I bring to a job.
$ ls ~/off-duty
./retro lan parties
I run Palms Arcade — LAN parties built around the hardware people actually grew up with. CRTs, beige boxes, and a room full of people lighting up when they spot the machine they had as a kid. Half the fun is the gear, the other half is the crowd that turns up for it. The network is my job, so everyone else can just get on with the games.
./vintage computer restoration
Windows 9x, XP and Vista-era hardware and software is my happy place — restoring machines, hunting period-correct drivers, and wiring up the networking of the era (IPX, NetBIOS, workgroups) to see how far it gets.
./the homelab
A rack of servers humming away in the garage — hypervisors, VLANs, a NAS that keeps quietly growing, and a UPS that has earned its keep more than once. It is where I break things properly before they go anywhere near a client. It is also, I suspect, the reason for the power bill I have decided not to investigate.
